05:46 pm - Yay... I'm a cripple for a few days.
Essentially, the joints and ligements in my lower back have been inflamed, and a chiropractor has ordered me to spend the next few days off my feet, letting it settle down.

I miss work already. How weird is that?

11:10 am - Ow....
I tried out paintball for the first time yesterday. Aside from one moment where my helmets chin strap came loose and a shot knocked my mask over my face, it was a fun, exciting time. Also, expensive. $22 for a hundred paintballs? How much do you people pay to get them in?

However, the problem doesn't come from there. When I pulled myself up from a sitting posistion behind a barricade, something in my back tweaked. It's only gotten worse, and my lower back, thighs and knees, and occasionally my shoulders, are in intense pain even while remaining still. I lasted half an hour at work before I gave up and went hunting for a doctor. I've got an appointment in two hours. Hopefully, I'll get some good news out of it.

06:49 pm - ... What's the point of this thing if I never use it?
Seriously, it's been over a year since I even logged on... And yet I remembered the password on the first try. Nifty.

So... what's happened in the world of MD? Um... the usual really. Work, TAFE, Internet. Other then that... I got nothing.

11:17 pm - I hate Summer
I much prefer the cold. I've always found it easier to warm up then cool off. Especially considering it hasn't dropped below 29 degrees at night since... oh, Monday at least. And considering my flat only has a pedestal fan... gah.

On top of that, I'm spending next week in the workshop at the local TAFE as part of my traineeship. Working with wood is not my strong suit. At least this time it's only a week, instead of the full month block I had last year. After that, the next time there is at the end of Feb.

12:34 am - Testing...
Work is about the usual. Doors, flyscreens, and so on. It's kinda quiet at the moment, although it's too damn hot... at least I get today off.

I'm now part of the mod staff on the Echoes of War RPG. Been playing it for over a year and a half, nice to see things from the other side.

And I finally gave in to ordering toys online :P

08:07 pm - I'm now a staff member on a forum
Transfandom, mainly working with toy reviews. First site that I was at long enough and was repected enough to be offered a posistion.

This says something... Not sure what.

04:21 am - Attention people with fax machines...
... stop dialling me by accident. Not only does it screw up my dialup, I don't need to hear the painfully high-pitched beeping it leaves in Messagebank. Ow.

Extra dollar an hour. Add in 40 hour weeks, and I get some extra cash.

05:15 pm - Nan's birthday today...
And the whole family got together in Echuca. And I seemed to have nothing but bad luck getting there. I slept in, couldn't find my sisters new house, only to learn she'd gone to my place since I was late, and on the way to Echuca, my speedometer went crazy... I don't think my car can REACH 180.

Once we got there, we all had a great time. Mum and Dad left my little brother at home (Cohuna has a skate park now, so that's cool in his book), everyone WANTED to have a good time, and Marilyn was happy, even if she did feel a little crook.

And the charcoal chicken was good, and I managed to get the leftovers for tea tonight.

02:35 pm - Damn...
My aunt has cancer. In the pancreas, which is apparantly pretty bad.

Fuck. Why the hell did it have to happen to her? Why not some asshole like my ex-uncle? Doesn't seem fair, which seems to surprise me more then it should.

07:26 pm - Grr...
They didn't put the ten or so doors in the oven until about 3:30... which means the three due out today are overdue. Bakas. They screw up, and then get sloppy about fixing it. I see why Kevin gets annoyed sometimes.

07:24 pm - Lousy doors...
... actually, lousy powdercoaters. Putting Primrose doors next to black ones in the oven, and all five doors I was meant to put mesh, hinges and locks on had their new color messed up.

Which meant I had one of those days where the work was fucked, and it wasn't my fault. Dammit.

I really don't use that this much anymore. It's a shame really, as I used to spend a lot of time posting.

06:39 pm - Work!
Got some. Traineeship at highlights, working with security doors and such. Started yesterday, which means no more working in a bottleshop with drunk morons! woo-hoo!

Oh, and Energon came out in Bendigo. Makes a pleasant change to the insanely expensive TF's I keep saving up for. (Energon Starscream rocks!)

After driving my dad's ute for the past week, I have but one thing to say;

the water bottle for my car's radiator had better FUCKING stay where it belongs from now on.

05:42 pm - Exercise is good for you.
Joined a gym. Yay me.

On another note, Centerlink cut my youth allowance by nearly 80 dollars. Now two-thirds of it goes into my rent, and I've got a hundred bucks to live on for a fortnight... I need work...

04:59 pm - Hey! I knew I forgot something!
Well, this still works. Things have been kind of dull lately. I've left Uni, and am now looking for work. Had a few interviews... and played a lot of games... Yeah. Things are quiet.

04:22 pm - Nearly forgot about this...
Been busy lately.

Told my parents I'm not going back, and that I don't want to. They took it well. Now, I have to find work. I've been registering with various employment agencys, and hopefully I'll be set up with some interviews soon.

Went to BLAM last weekend, for the first time in months. As I was the only person with a copy of KOTR there, I lost count of the number of times I let people borrow it. Not to mention how many times the images people put up on the DC hub were downloaded...

Best find of the night? All the Honor Harrington novels in rich text format. I just saved myself... Oh, a hundred bucks at least. Score!

03:52 pm - Uni's over for me...
My results this semester... yeah. Absolute shit. My own damn fault really, but I don't want to go back. I've done the past two years on Autopilot and gotten nowhere.

Fuck it.
